Most people would agree that ethics would play a huge role in determining the topics that would be discussed in paper topics. It's true. These paper topics should be based on the ethical dilemma of a certain issue. That said, it will be interesting to see how these environmental ethics questions can be used as paper topics.
Basically, this isn't too much of a problem. In fact, by using environmental ethics, it would be easy to include them in the paper topics. We can already find some phrases in here such as global warming, global food crisis, and air pollution. Just the list of words alone is enough to motivate a student to think about ethics. It won't be that hard to make a paper topic on environmental ethics.
Not only that, but by having these topics included in paper topics, they can encourage people to reflect upon things they know and learn. For example, if you ask a student to name a problem facing mankind, he will most likely think about global warming, global food crisis, and air pollution. Of course, he would also consider the importance of environmental ethics and, therefore, his paper topic should be about environmental ethics.
However, when I asked him what is the most important aspect of environmental ethics, he didn't really say anything. After all, he doesn't think that global warming orglobal food crisis is a big problem. Well, that was quite interesting. Anyway, he didn't say that there is a big problem.
What would he have said if I asked him to discuss these three topics, in their entirety, in paper topics? He might have said something like global warming is a big problem because of the various challenges in creating energy, thus, global food crisis is a big problem because of various food security issues, and air pollution is a big problem because of the detrimental effects it has. Let's see how he would put it in his paper topic.
If you study environmental ethics, you will see that you will need to include these paper topics in your class. Using these topics, students can take a look at the big picture of the situation and they can also learn more about the major aspects of environmental ethics.
